An easy to use program for managing information about assets.

This sounds complicated but is easy when you try it.

It can be installed preconfigured for small or very large users (the largest asset database on Earth would not break this product).
If you want complex user accounts you can have them or if you don't want security you can do without any sign of user accounts. It can offer you workflow channels to ensure the correct functioning of your organisation. It can connect to other products.

This can be used as a simple standalone database of assets without any special configuration but can be oh so much more complicated than that. It is a large relational database which will hold any information you wish to store regarding assets, suppliers, sites and asset life phases.

It allows you to define the lifecycle of an asset and it can be completely unique to your organisation and yet still integral to the system.

It has a simple built in backup and restore system with one button for backup and the other for restore. Also it has import and export of data every bit as simple and obvious. No tricky questions. It just does it.
There is a really simple querying form for the non technical user to select which data he or she wishes to see in reports.

You simply tell the program where the other programs have been told to look for data. Multiple copies of the database can exchange information so you appear to have a different copy on every server in your organisation. This reduces network traffic and means the database is sort of indestructable even if one part of your organisaton simply disapeared the rest of the system would carry on working with no loss of data or function.
